Episode: “If Not Now”. Did I misunderstand, or did Ray call Weaver “Aunt Kerry”? And if so, were we supposed to know this? Or was it just an offhand reveal? ... I love it when Neela puts Morris in his place. He’s a hack who’s in way over his head, and she’s underappreciated because she’s hard to get to know. (Actually, they’re both much more complicated characters than that, which is why
ER is still such an indispensable show.) ... “Everything happens for a reason”? Yeah, the fifteen-year-old got pregnant because she got drunk at a party and was raped. Is that a good enough reason? ... Are Luka and Abby capable of making a strong enough commitment to raise a child? In fact, is either one of them?
