ER: Split Decisions
Apparently whoever is sleeping with Luka gets the most screen time and the best story lines. Last season it was Sam, and now it’s Abby. Pregnancy does seem to agree with her, though. I can’t remember a time when she hasn’t been sullen and distant. Now she’s smiling and cracking jokes and making Luka laugh.
Wait a minute! Luka is laughing, too! Who’s going to carry the ball for the brooding, remote Croatian team now that everybody’s happy and content? This just can’t last, or we have no show. Morris is supposed to be our comic relief, remember?
I suppose
ER could turn into one of those sitcoms where characters go shopping for maternity clothes and end up making out in the dressing room. But then to balance it out we’d have to have other characters with marital troubles, and maybe a missing attending who might have been wiped out by the mob.
