Shocked! I tell you, I’m shocked that the other geeks wouldn’t accept Chris’s apology after he played his egomaniacal power trip on them. He dominated the first challenge on Beauty and the Geek 2, and he won the right to switch teams. So he sat them down and cross-examined them. Any other group would have told him to stuff it. I was so hoping Josh would walk out on the ordeal when Chris told him psychology was a “cake major.” But they all tried to answer his questions and absorb his insults. He apparently had no idea anyone could possibly be offended, and it seemed to surprise him when he was targeted for elimination by the other teams.

You don’t even have to know the dynamics of reality television to realize that you don’t rock the boat and throw your weight around, especially on the first day. That’s simple human nature. Of course, the reason these geeks were chosen to be on the show in the first place is that they have limited social skills and trouble interacting with others (especially people they feel are inferior to them, which includes almost everybody). If Chris lasts a few weeks in this social experiment, he’ll be better off for it.
