Rapido, por favor
I had a hard time picking a favorite from among the final three on
The Amazing Race 10, so I guess you could say I’d have been equally satisfied if one of the other two had won. But out of the final three, Tyler and James showed the least animosity toward each other and toward the other teams. (To be perfectly honest, there were times I thought Tyler really believed that James was dragging the team down, but mostly they overcame that.)
Rob and Kimberly love each other; they go way out of their way to keep trying to convince us (and themselves?) of that, but they spent most of their trip around the world screeching at each other. Lyn and Karlyn made alliances with the intention of breaking them, and complained loudly about the very people who kept them in the race long enough even to make it to the final three.
Still, they persevered through physical challenges that they weren’t exactly cut out for, and at times they seemed to be the only team with a clue, so I wouldn’t have minded seeing them win. And once the pressure was off at the end of each leg of the race, Rob and Kimberly showed that they have genuine feelings for each other, so if they had won I would have been okay with it.
It’s not like last season, when B.J. and Tyler were my favorites from the first leg to the finish line. This time I really didn’t care, so I really wasn’t disappointed.
