    Time Event
    9:30p
How much food can you shove in a pie-hole?
How did Lisi “know” before Tribal Council that she was safe? The only thing she knew for sure (or as sure as anything can be on Survivor: Fiji) was that she had three votes (meaning she, Alex and Edgardo were voting for Rocky). It takes four votes, and as it turned out she did get that fourth vote when Dreamz went against his own best interests and voted Rocky out as well. He’s no better than fourth on the Ravu food chain now, and since there are only five of them left, that’s not a very secure position. He really has no allies, with the possible exception of Mookie, who is even more vulnerable, as the last surviving original Ravu member left on the new Ravu.

Over on Moto, the alliance between Earl and Yau-Man is fascinating, because there’s no way it can work the way they think it will. If they believe Earl is a target for elimination and he plays the hidden Immunity Idol, Yau-Man could easily be voted off by virtue of having the second most votes. This business of working together to play an individual advantage has disaster written all over it. Lisi was way too forthcoming with the information she had about the hidden idol, and I suspect it will backfire on her the same way it will on Yau-Man and Earl. I do love the phony idol that Yau-Man made and hid in the same hole, though. If it fools anybody, they deserve to get sent home.

Apparently we are going to get another three-person finale this season. That’s the only thing that explains how, with twelve people left, Rocky becomes the first member of the jury. It looks like nine on the jury voting for three. If they figure that out ahead of time, it will change the dynamic of the game as it gets close to the end.
