They're all winners
I said I wouldn’t watch the final performance show of
American Idol, but I did. I said I wouldn’t vote, and I didn’t. I don’t care who wins, but I don’t think it was fair to make Blake sing that awful song. How in the world did that atrocity win the songwriting contest? Could it really have been the best? Anyway, Blake did a decent job with it, and Jordin was a little better, but overall, I thought they were pretty even tonight. I actually liked Blake’s version of “She Will Be Loved,” and he was as entertaining as ever with “You Give Love a Bad Name.” Jordin did a decent version of “Fighter,” and she was good on “A Broken Wing,” but Randy is an idiot. Not only was her rendition not as good as the original, as he claimed, it wasn’t even as good as the first time she sang it several weeks ago. So I don’t know who should win, and I don’t think I care, because the best performer of the night by far was Chris Daughtry, who, like Melinda Doolittle, never won
American Idol.
