What was she thinking?
They’ve really stepped up the challenges on
Survivor this season, haven’t they? Every one has been watchable, and the two tonight were a couple of the best ever. I still think this is going to be a great season. The personal dynamics in each camp are interesting and volatile. Jean-Robert is using a bad strategy, “pretending” to be lazy, so that when he steps it up later they’ll say he’s working beyond his “normal capabilities.” This is what they do in poker? I don’t get that. I think there might not be a “later” for him, unless James keeps winning challenges for Fei Long.
Dave was being arrogant and patronizing, but at least he was getting things done. If Ashley wanted to make a case for herself, she should have done it in camp, before Tribal Council, instead of trying to change minds that were already made up. She had no chance, especially after the big rain flooded Zhan Hu, when Dave’s fire pit was just about the only thing left standing.
Leslie has no idea that Todd is already in an alliance with Amanda and Aaron, so when she told him about the hidden Immunity Idol, she might have sealed her own fate. He’s way smarter than she is, the ruthless gay Mormon flight attendant against the sick Christian radio host who feels lost without her Bible. No contest.
