How can the same episode of
General Hospital that gives us a great, fire-breathing confrontation between Sonny and Carly also foist on us another lame plot involving Maxie seducing someone else’s boyfriend? Haven’t we already been there before (and hated it)? It’s come back to the point where I’m fast-forwarding through all the Maxie scenes. She’s been the most annoying character on the show since she grew up, and not in a good way.
And speaking of Sonny and Carly, how can what’s going on now -- with the two of them fighting and Sonny threatening to take back the business and his sons, and Jax assuring Kate that Carly will never return to Sonny -- not end up with Carly pregnant with Sonny’s baby? All signs point there, but I should have seen it coming when they slept together in the limo on the way back from leaving Michael in the care facility.
